Sheet Music for Piano


Krume Andreevski (born 1983 in Macedonia) is a pianist based in Houston TX. He has performed three times as a soloist with the Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra and has won prizes on international music competitions. As a doctoral student at the University of Houston in the class of pianist Abbey Simon, he has appeared frequently in solo and collaborative concerts within the university, as well as in benefit concerts in the Houston area. Pursuing an interest in contemporary music, Krume Andreevski has performed with the AURA Contemporary Chamber Music Ensemble and was featured live on the KUHF Houston Public Radio. He performs occasionally overseas in Macedonia. Among his performances from recent years, notable was his solo recital from January 2010, when he had the honor to play for the ambassadors of USA and EU in Skopje, Macedonia.
Mr. Andreevski is also a dedicated piano teacher and gives piano and music instruction in the Houston area since 2008. He is an active member of the Houston Music Teachers Association (branch of MTNA). He has given performances and presentations at the monthly meetings and was a member of the jury at the local piano contests. He holds piano performance degrees from the University of Houston (doctorate), Lynn University (master’s degree) and Ss. Cyril and Methodius University (bachelor’s degree).
Among his prizes on international music competitions are: Interfest – Bitola, Macedonia, 2005 – First prize; Ars Flores Concerto Competition, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 2007 - First prize; Chautauqua Music Festival Piano Competition, Chautauqua, NY 2010 – Second Prize; “Rovere d’Oro” San Bartolomeo, Italy, 2000– Third prize; “Vojislav Vuckovic” Belgrade, Serbia 2005 – Second prize.
